Anne-Marie's graduate studies at York University and McMaster University focused on quantitative research about executive functioning, bilingualism, cognitive reserve, autism, and auditory processing. Her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital involved qualitative research about lived experiences and parents' experiences with developmental disabilities as well as employment readiness among youth with physical disabilities. More recently, Anne-Marie's research has examined applied topics related to the impact of new classroom practices and technology on teaching and learning outcomes at the postsecondary level. - Research Areas of Interest:

Emily is the Program and Field Coordinator of the Autism and Behavioural Science graduate certificate program. Emily is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). She has several years of experience working in the field providing behaviour analytic interventions to children and youth with a diagnosis of Autism. Kim Ann Laush has worked at Mohawk College since 2003 in a variety of capacities. She is currently the Associate Dean of Community studies in the School of Health and Community Services. Prior to this she was faculty/coordinator in both the Educational Support and Child and Youth Care programs. Kim Ann has a BA in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo, BEd from York University (primary/junior qualifications), and a Master of Education from Nipissing. Prior to working at Mohawk College, Kim Ann worked in children's mental health, custody for youth, and taught in both the Grand Erie School Board, and the Waterloo Region District School boards. Krissy is a medical neuroscientist with extensive research in Neurodevelopmental Disorders. After her PhD in 2010, Krissy worked as a researcher and research administrator at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Parzen has been working nursing education for 20 years in the Collaborative BScN program. She also holds an Adjunct Professor status at the University of Toronto in which she supervises PhD students. Monica has research experience with participating in a Scholarship for teaching and learning project after receiving an ICF catalyst fund grant. Biography:
Shelley wrote her first book, Advocacy in Practice: Creating a Culture of Social Change in the Human Services [2017], Oxford University Press. The book involved comprehensive research into advocacy theory and practice as well as in depth interviews with practicing advocates.
While teaching full time as a Professor Shelley completed her doctorate at the OISE/U of T. Shelley's thesis, Critical Social Work Field Educators: Identity, Context, Resistance and Pedagogy [2009], was based on qualitative analysis and used a small snowball sampling in design.
Shelley was the Executive Director of the Housing Help Centre of Hamilton where Shelley carried out small sample community based, action research, projects [1989-2001].

Biography:
Wendy is an experienced healthcare leader who held several roles over her nursing career, including, Vice President Clinical Programs and Chief Nurse Executive of a large community hospital. Accountable for the provision and management of all clinical programs, she executed the daily administration of the hospital while leveraging her strength and interests in professional practice standards, quality care environments, and fostering positive patient/family experiences.
Wendy completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at York University and has a passion for patient safety and care that is coordinated and integrated. Wendy's research interests lie in Nursing leadership, Professional practice, Patient Safety, and Nursing education.
