Christy Taberner is faculty in the School of Health and Community Services at Mohawk College. Christy is a registered occupational therapist and holds a Masters in Education specializing in online/Distance Education. During her time at Mohawk, she has held the position of faculty in health sciences innovation and applied research. Christy has inspired students, colleagues and professional peers with her endless enthusiasm, skill and ability to see opportunities for innovation. She describes herself as an out of the box thinker who sees synergies, potential partnerships and collaborative opportunities everywhere. Christy is passionate about education and exploring new methods to engage and motivate her students. Her primary areas of research include anatomy & physiology, collaborative design, digital health, simulation, interprofessional education, virtual learning and educational technology.
