My current role is the coordinator of the pre-justice program as well as Instructor in Police Foundations, Public Security and Investigations and Community and Justice Services. I am a graduate of both Fanshawe College with a diploma in Police Foundations and Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Contemporary Studies. After Graduation from Fanshawe College I spent a brief time working in mental health prior to beginning a career in Policing with the Brantford Police Service. I served a number of roles with Brantford Police including coaching new recruits and coordinating Brantford's Community Policing Branch. After fourteen years of service I changed careers and began teaching at Mohawk College in the Police Foundations Program. I completed my degree and began writing on Aboriginal Issues in Canada's Justice system which is an area of continued academic study for me.
