Hey! I'm Jey, a seasoned video game developer with a passion for learning and teaching about video games being a beautiful, multi faceted art form that anyone can be a part of.
Graduating from George Brown College, my journey started over a decade ago now. Starting in 3D art working on student projects then moving into UX, game design and teaching. I love seeing people play games and hearing how it made them feel. I've worked in both AAA and Indie game studios, and feel that there is passion in every developer who chooses to try.
While working as a researcher, I've been a part of published studies regarding game ethics, expression and politics within the medium.
I've been teaching for the better part of 5 years and am excited to see what the next generation makes!
