Nicole is an honours graduate of both the Advanced Diploma from Mohawk College in Child and Youth Work and Bachelor of Arts Degree from McMaster University in Psychology. Currently a Master of Arts student in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Education and a member of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care since 2002.
Nicole has several years front-line experience working in children and youth mental health settings prior to her career at Mohawk. The Mohawk Child and Youth Work Apprenticeship Coordinator from 2018 to 2022, Nicole has been teaching and supervising field placement students in the Child and Youth Care program at Mohawk College since 2007. Nicole has been serving as a certified Non-Violent Crisis Intervention trainer since 2016.
