Sheida Sims is a Concept & Production Designer who teaches here at Mohawk as well as an Authorized Unreal Engine Instructor. Her work extends across the film, gaming, and visual development industries, as well as into research and innovative technologies. Some of her work includes feature films such as Hunger Games, Insurgent, and The Walk - where one of the scenes she worked on received The Lumiere Award in 2016. With a Master’s Degree in 3D Animation and a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration, Sheida’s work ranges from traditional and digital illustrations to various 3D work to communicate her client’s goals within the entertainment industry. Sheida currently teaches courses and consults on Designing for Virtual Production as well as Post Production VFX where she helps students and professionals learn how they can use technology to bring their stories to life.
