Steve has a unique combination of education and experience.
He was educated and graduated from Cornell University, Humber College, and Mohawk College. Steve has furthered his skills through in-field training for civil engineering design. He actively upgrades his abilities using software through professional development at the Regional Colleges, CACPT, ESRI, and at the Autodesk training facilities.
Steve received his teaching certification from the Western Region College Educator Development Program in 2000 and, most recently, received his in-service teacher training (ISTTP) certification in 2015.
Prior to joining Mohawk College, he worked in the Real Estate Construction and Land Planning departments for two very large Canadian companies – the TDL Group and the Oshawa Group Limited. He held the position of Civil Designer.
In addition to his teaching, Steve has over 30 years of experience as a sole proprietor and entrepreneur. He has worked on many exciting design and construction projects with his clients.
