General Manager, Pinewood Toronto Studios

Geoff Grant is an award-winning television and film broadcasting executive whose career has taken him from the newsroom to the boardroom and around the world.

After graduating from Mohawk College, Geoff began working as a videographer before moving to CTV Toronto and later to Bell Media as Director of Operations of Bell Media Studios North. Throughout his career, he has played key roles in television channel launches, transitions to HD, as well as covering American elections and executing the Olympic Games.

Now General Manager of Pinewood Toronto Studios, a world-renowned production studio, Geoff is representing the country’s film sector on international delegations and leading a historic expansion of the facility.

Giving back to the industry, Geoff has mentored broadcast professionals at every level of his career and has served a number of years on the broadcast program advisory committee at Durham College and Toronto’s Film, Television and Digital Media  Board.
