Karen E. Mosier is a Research Coordinator/Navigator for the Department of Surgery in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Her educational background includes a BA Psychology (Honours) and a MSc Pharmacy. She brings over 16 years' experience working in research administration, primarily in the areas of finding funding opportunities for faculty, reviewing faculty grant proposals, and assisting with budget development. Karen published her first book in March of 2020 entitled “Soft Skills and Professional Tips for the Office” (see karenemosier.com). She recently published “Deconstructing the Art of Grantsmanship: The Roles of the Storyteller, Grant Writer, Typesetter, Proofreader, Accountant and Reviewer” in the Journal of Research Administration (see Spring 2022 issue).
Karen is an instructor in the Research Administration program.
