The Digital Creativity Centre (DCC), located in Room EA105 at the Fennell Campus, is a vibrant collaboration centre that provides access to bookable project rooms, technology, flexible spaces, and drop-in tech support.

The DCC includes 6 spacious, fully accessible, bookable meeting rooms for student use.

Project Rooms

Activities: Projects, collaboration & small presentations

Capacity: 4-6 seats per room​

Features: Accessible; outfitted with a table and 4-8 chairs, TV monitor and whiteboards.​

DCC Computer Lab

Activities: Use of hardware and software for school projects, creativity, or recreational use (Gaming).

Capacity: One student per computer with up to one additional student per desk.

Features: PC – Intel i9 13900k, RTX 4080, 32GB Ram, Ultrawide 49” Monitor x 14 
MAC – M3 iMac 24” x 6 
Wacom Cintiq 24” Digital Drawing Tablet 
Meta Quest 2 VR Headsets

Streaming & Podcasting Studio

Activities: Video editing, podcasting, photography.

Capacity: 2-4 seats

Features: pull-down backdrop screens, digital screen, video and DSLR camera.

Group Spaces/PC Lab Terms & Conditions

  • Spaces are for current Mohawk College students ONLY​.
  • Group Spaces, PC’s or Mac’s must be signed out through our booking system prior to being used. (https://mohawkcollege.skedda.com/booking) Bookings must be made with your Mohawk email. Group spaces are for group projects, not individual use.​
  • Reservations are available for half-hour time slots to a maximum of 2 hours per day per person/group​.
  • Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance.​
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late your reservation will be cancelled.
  • All students, staff, and equipment must be respected. Violation of this will result in removal or banning from the space.
  • Repeated no shows, or working around the system to book more than the two-hour daily allotment will be dealt with by management and staff at their discretion.
