Primary duties
Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative individual for the position of Cardiac Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment to assist physicians in treating and diagnosing patients with cardiac disorders.
Skills and Experience Required
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a one (1) year Diploma in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, from an accredited college and current certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
- In addition, Current Registration with Sonography Canada as a Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) or with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
- Candidates currently registered in courses to meet the educational requirements of the CRCS or RDCS and will obtain certification within six (6) months may be considered.
