Slaying Social Anxiety

Embark on an epic quest to level up your social skills! This unique 10-week adventure, combines the powers of therapeutic support with the magic of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). Led by our WM (Wellness Master), a professional Counsellor, explore and develop essential social skill and strategies to cope with and manage social anxiety. This program is intended for those who are new to, or who have limited experience with role-playing games like D&D. We'll teach you everything you need to know.

Group Sizes Are Limited. Participants must be able to attend all 10 weeks (2-hour sessions). Sessions continue through reading week. 

  • Thursday, September 26 from 5 pm to 7 pm
  • Thursday, October 3 from 5 pm to 7 pm 
  • Thursday, October 10 from 5 pm to 7 pm 
  • Thursday, October 17 from 5 pm to 7 pm 
  • Thursday, October 24 from 5 pm to 7 pm 
  • Thursday, October 31 from 5 pm to 7 pm 
  • Thursday, November 7 from 5 pm to 7 pm 
  • Thursday, November 14 from 5 pm to 7 pm 
  • Thursday, November 21 from 5 pm to 7 pm 
  • Thursday, November 28 from 5 pm to 7 pm

  • Select "Patient" from the main menu
  • Have you accessed services at the HWC before? Select "Yes" and login or select "No". 
  • Click "Counselling - Personal/Mental Health Counselling"
  • Select "Group Visit"
  • Select "Slaying Social Anxietyfrom the menu. Enter the required information if you are a new user to complete registration.
