Cultivating mindfulness through embroidery! In Zen Stitch, let the quiet and repetitive action fulfill your mind and body’s need to be occupied. Research indicates that textile crafts, like embroidery, can lead to improvements in mental health and well-being as well as help to reduce stress. Get creative and connect with others in this peer-facilitated drop-in workshop. No experience is neccessary.

Please bring with you a clothing or cloth item to personalize during this session. T-shirts, socks, and hats are highly recommended. All other supplies will be provided.

About Mindfulness Mondays:

Presented by Thriving in Action, Mindfulness Mondays is a group for anyone and everyone who loves to craft for their well-being. Various crafting drop-in sessions will be held throughout the winter semester. We aim to support mental health and well-being through art therapy and peer-support.
