Newcomer Academic and Career Advising

Do you need support to continue with your career in Canada? Do you need help with exploring options available in postsecondary education? Meet Zarema and Denisa, our Newcomer Employment Advisors.

They will work with you to help you achieve your goals by:

  • looking for college programs based on your interests
  • academic assessment of your credentials
  • assistance with applications to professional associations
  • providing further support with resumes and cover letters
  • researching labour market trends
  • exploring alternative careers
  • arranging informational interviews
  • looking for volunteering opportunities
  • assisting in making connections with employers and community organizations
