Skilled Trades Employer Consultation
As one of the largest trainers of apprentices in Ontario Mohawk College is committed to working with industry and employers to address workforce planning needs.
In partnership with Mohawk College. Workforce Planning Hamilton is conducting a survey about Hamilton employers’ experiences with skilled trades. Local workforce planning boards are being asked by the province to identify skilled trade positions that are hardest for employers to fill or most “in-demand” in the areas that they serve and why they are experiencing challenges filling these jobs.
Employers will also have the opportunity to attend an on-campus session at our Stoney Creek campus. At these sessions, participants will learn about resources and support that Mohawk offers for skilled trades and apprenticeship.
