Academic Assistance
Need some help reaching your academic goals? Try the Learning Support Centre (LSC) for FREE tutoring services for up to 3 hours each week! Also, check out our amazing Library resources on-campus and online for 24-hour access to the virtual library.
If you are in search of personalized, one-to-one support, contact your Student Success Advisor (SSA) for assistance in your personal program of study. You can also speak with your Program Coordinator.
Tutorial Help, Note-Taking Skills and Time Management Skills
The Learning Support Centre (LSC) and the Library have a wide array of workshops, services and resources that can assist you in these areas. Financial Assistance
For these types of questions, please visit our Financial Assistance website or visit us in person at The Registrar's Office to see a Financial Assistance Advisor. We also provide a selection of Do-It Yourself Online Financial Workshops as well as the Mo-Money Resource Centre to support students to become more confident with their finances.
Career Advisement
Looking for a job? Our Career and Employment Advisors offer a wide array of career planning services and advising. We also have Co-op Specialists and Career Counselling Services that can support you in similar ways.
On and off-campus employment opportunities can be found through the CSEP Program, the Mohawk Student Association (MSA) and Student Engagement Job Postings. Online resources about interview and career path guidance can be found under Career Tools. We also host SURGE events which cater to inspiring and building future business students and entrepreneurs.
International Students
If you are an International student, there are a variety of specialized services and resources available for you. Visit The Registrar's Office to get answers to your questions about study or work permits and access support during your transition to Canada and Mohawk through social events and academic workshops. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to call home at Mohawk, check out the Language & Culture Centre in room J137 to enjoy your studies with students from all over the world.
