Mike Boss graduated from a 3 year Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Engineering Technologist Program at George Brown College in 1998. He then completed his 313A – Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Certification of Qualifications at Mohawk College. While working in the field, Mike was involved in designing, installing and servicing various equipment in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
As a Refrigeration Mechanic, Mike became involved in the training of apprentices. As a result of his experiences there he started working at Mohawk College as a part time instructor in 2012, eventually becoming a full time Professor. He is currently the Coordinator of both the 180 - HRAC program and the 313A / 313D Refrigeration Apprenticeship programs.
