  • Gain hands-on experience building, wiring, and troubleshooting a refrigeration system
  • First semester prepares participants for provincial testing by the TSSA for Gas Technician 3 (G3) certification.
  • Accredited by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA)
  • Optional training includes Gastite and IPEX Certification, at no additional cost
  • Optional training also includes Working at Heights and Ozone Depletion Prevention, offered at discounted rates

Opportunities for grads

Graduates are eligible to write the exemption test for the Level 1 in-school curriculum of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic – Branch 1 (313A) apprenticeship program, which is also common core for Level 1 Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic – Branch 2 (313D).
