Introducing a new way for you to support your fellow Mohawk graduates and their businesses.

Launched in spring 2021, the Mohawk Alumni Business Directory features a variety of businesses owned by Mohawk alumni that are accessed exclusively through the Mohawk Alumni Perks App.

Here's a sneak peek at a couple of the businesses featured within the directory:

Cithara Guitars Inc.

Music graduate, Daniel Clark ’11 had both an interest in architecture and music when pursuing his postsecondary education. Although music came first, Daniel found a way to combine both his passions by completing an apprenticeship under the guidance of a master craftsman to become a certified luthier. Cithara Guitars Inc. was officially launched in 2012, allowing Daniel to be his own boss, build guitars under his own brand and leave a lasting legacy on the Canadian music scene.

Dawson’s Hot Sauce

Graduate Brodie Dawson ’07, started making hot sauce as a hobby in 2011. At the time, he was not seeing a wide variety of hot sauces in the market so what started as a hobby quickly grew into a business. Dawson’s Hot Sauce officially launched in 2013 and today they have customers across Canada and in the US, UK, and EU. They ship worldwide from their shop in Hamilton, Ontario.

The Moccasin Shop

Graduate Natasha Clarkson '06, started her genuine 100% Indigenous-made moccasin business in 2017. The Moccasin Shop was born after Natasha and her family members could not find genuine moccasins to suit their styles and needs. Fast forward a few years later and they are now manufacturing new designs and styles for all ages to enjoy.
