Professor Zhenyu Zhao received his PhD degree from University of Toronto in Electrical Engineering in 2008. He has also a M.E.Sc degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2004 and a B.Eng degree from Shanghai JiaoTong University in 1999 respectively. He has more than 15 years of work experience in the field of Power Electronics, Control Technology and Electronics. He had worked for or collaborated with a number of industrial leaders before joining Mohawk including NEC, Maxim, Exar, Toshiba, NXP, SEI etc. He holds 11 US patents and has published 17 technical papers in IEEE peer reviewed conferences and journals. Professor Zhao is a long time member of IEEE and is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) of Ontario.
