Gopal Banerjee completed his Master of Social Work and his Bachelor of Social Work at York University. Gopal is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration at the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). Gopal currently works as a Systems Navigator at the Hamilton Community Legal Clinic. He assists individuals living with mental health and addiction issues navigate criminal court, family court, landlord and tenant board and community resources. In the past, Gopal has worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Peel Dufferin Branch, as a Case Worker and as a Community Crisis Worker on a mobile crisis team with St. Elizabeth Health Care and in the City of Toronto as both a shelter worker and shift leader in the Toronto homeless shelter systems. Gopal also sits on the board of directors with the Social Planning & Research Council of Hamilton.
