With a career in marketing communications spanning nearly two decades, Julie’s enthusiasm as a marketer and public relations professional has developed through a growth mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
Julie began her career as a copywriter in the health and wellness industry but took a sharp turn as she steered herself towards the automotive industry and drove her professional milestones towards public relations over the past decade. In her professional journey, Julie leads internal and external teams and oversees communications, press launches, experiential events, auto shows, social media and charitable initiatives.
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Julie completed her first undergraduate degree in her hometown. She began sharing her knowledge at the post-secondary level more than five years ago with the Automotive Business School of Canada at Georgian College and joined Mohawk College as a part-time instructor for the Fall/Winter in the 2019-2020 academic year. She has taught first-year students in the Journalism program as well as at the post-graduate level in the Public Relations program.
