In recognition of this, the Centre for Climate Change Management at Mohawk College has a “coalitions-in-residence” program where we incubate collective impact initiatives focused on creating systems-level solutions to decarbonization challenges.

BACCC is a collective impact initiative made up of 14 community leaders from organizations throughout the Hamilton-Burlington “Bay Area.” The Council’s vision is for the Bay Area to be a thriving, resilient net zero carbon community by 2050. The Council focuses on supporting action on “The Big Three” sources of emissions in the Bay Area: industry, transportation, and buildings.

C2R2 is a coalition of 15 colleges, cégeps, and polytechnics from across Canada with the proven ability to make an immediate impact and lead in training deployment and applied research that supports energy security and sustainability.
