Thriving in Action - Cultivating Optimism & Assignment Writing (Cohort 1)

Learn to thrive in both your academic and personal life. In this group session, students will meet weekly to learn key skills to increase motivation, optimism, and resilience. You will also be introduced to learning strategies that will improve time management and study skills.

This 8-week series will explore a different topic each week. Choose your own path to improving your academic and personal life. Week 7: Tuesday, November 14 from 1pm to 2pm

Topic: Cultivating Optimism & Assignment Writing

Learn to flip into more positive ways of being and doing to how to widen your view and disrupt unhelpful. Explore entry points into academic writing to help mend unproductive or unpleasant prior experiences with writing, and how to progress writer’s block, procrastination, and perfectionism.

  • Click "Counselling - Personal/Mental Health Counselling"
  • Select "Group Visit"
  • Select "Thriving in Action" with the desired time from the menu. Enter required information if a new user to complete registration.
