This week:
"Desmond Cole on Black Resistance and Power"
"Our final dive into the TVO video vault this summer delivers important conversations with iconic guests. In early 2020, just before the pandemic broke out, and before the early summer Black Lives Matter protests, author and activist Desmond Cole spoke to Steve Paikin about his book, "The Skin We're In: A Year of Black Resistance and Power." In his many years as a journalist and activist in Toronto, Desmond Cole has chronicled multiple instances of racism in policing, in schools, and in media. This book chronicled one year - 2017 - of efforts against racism in Canada."
