SIGMA at Mohawk College
SIGMA at Mohawk College is a competition for high school students keen on exploring practical applications of mathematics and statistics across various interdisciplinary fields such as business, architecture, engineering, aviation, health sciences, music and many more.
Students are invited to attend a one-day event on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Mohawk College, Fennell Campus, 135 Fennell Avenue West, Hamilton.

Competition Rules
Each school may register one team of two students per grade (grades 11 & 12). Only students registered in (or have completed semester one) MCF3M, MBF3C, MCT4C, and MAP4C are eligible to compete.

| 9:45 – 10:45 am | Competition Session A (Competitors working in teams of two will solve problems with multiple parts.) |
| 11 am – 12 pm | Competition Session B (Working individually, competitors will be solving mathematics and statistics problems on a computer using our MyOpenMath platform) |
