Primary duties
- Working closely with the Doctor, assisting in both the adjustment space and exam room
- Greeting the patients as they arrive and escorting them to the adjusting area
- Administering Titron Neurological scans to prepare patients for their adjustments
- Directing patients to the appropriate station and adjusting chiropractic tables to accommodate patient needs
- Taking clinical notes during chiropractic assessments
- Keeping track of patient appointment times and guiding the Doctor’s adjusting schedule
- Keeping track of any important information and relaying communications to front desk staff and management.
- Ensuring patient confidentiality for both personal and health related records.
- Stepping in occasionally to assist front desk staff with tasks: answering phone calls, taking messages, booking patient appointments, or taking payments
Skills and Experience Required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Personable and welcoming, with a strong understanding of professional conduct
- Attention to detail and able prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and willing to continue professional development and training
- Knowledge of basic anatomical terminology is preferred
- Previous experience in the health and wellness industry is an asset
