• Providing a safe, predictable, and therapeutic environment for the child/youth in the day treatment program
• Ensuring the basic needs of the child/youth in the day treatment program are met
• Planning, developing and implementing individual and group therapeutic programming
• Maintain clinical records, assessments and reports according to agency and program policy and procedures
• Administer medication according to agency and program policy and procedures
• Provide telephone crisis support to caregivers as per individual plans
• Attend to facility safety and security, cleanliness as per relevant policy and procedure
• Providing treatment to child/youth and families
• Case Management of child/youth and families engaged in the Day treatment program
• Several years' experience working with children/youth in a treatment setting.
• Experience working with students and collaterals in a school-based setting.
• Experience working with and developing support plans aimed to enhance student functioning.
• Experience collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to set and achieve common goals.
• Knowledge of child and youth mental health and relevant evidence informed treatment interventions
• Diploma in CYC or equivalent from recognized community college or a post-secondary degree in a related field
• Standard First Aid & CPR Training in Good Standing
