We are looking to hire Medical Radiation Technologists, Technicians and Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to meet current and upcoming needs at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC). We have recently invested in new state of the art equipment throughout our entire department including two new MR systems and two new CT systems within the last year. All our Ultrasound and x-ray equipment have been replaced and our next major replacement will be our Interventional Suites.

What You’ll Do:
Technologists and Sonographers have a unique role in promoting health and preventing illness. As a member of our Diagnostic Imaging team at PRHC you play an integral part in helping the members of our community attain and maintain the highest level of health possible. No day is the same and you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care autonomously to patients - some with predictable outcomes and others with unpredictable outcomes, who may or may not be clinically stable.
This can be challenging, but it is also rewarding. At PRHC, you will have the support you need from our team to be confident and capable in your ability to provide exceptional care.

Who You Are:
- You pride yourself on practicing in accordance with your governing body and providing high-quality care to patients and support for their families.

What You’ll Bring:
- College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist (CMRITO) of Ontario
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists preferred.
- Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences preferred.
- Sonography Canada preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment would be an asset.
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) course
- The ability to effectively use MS Office and other Clinical Information Systems (ideally EPIC)
