Periods have been wrapped in secrecy and shame for way too long, and it's time we start calling them what they are. Sure, using nicknames
can be fun and sometimes necessary, but it’s important to ask ourselves why we’re avoiding the real word in the first place. It’s time to ditch the vague phrases and start talking openly about periods. Those who menstruate should feel empowered to discuss something that’s totally natural.

"Call it What it Is, PERIOD." is an opportunity for students to help normalize experiences with menstruation. Anonymously share your experiences, stories or best period euphemisms to help break the stigma surrounding menstruation and promote period positivity and equity. Sharing your story will help work towards creating a more period-positive campus.
In celebration of menstruation, the Health & Wellness Centre wants to hook you up with all your cycle essentials. Students who participate will have the opportunity to enter to win 1 of 2 "Flow Kits".
