Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, The Hugh Cameron Digital Print Learning Centre offers students hands-on experience with the same equipment found in industry-leading print environments. Highlights include an Esko cutting table for creating professional packaging samples, a Mutoh large-format UV printer capable of printing on a wide variety of substrates, and a Roland DG eco solvent printer perfect for sticker and poster production.
Students also gain access to a Xerox digital printing press with a wide range of binding and finishing capabilities, along with expanded options for producing digital shirts and promotional items. This ensures that students experience the full spectrum of modern print production.
This centre provides a unique tactical learning experience, allowing students to take their designs from the screen to real-world applications, while gaining valuable insight into how their design choices affect final products. We are proud to be one of the few post-secondary institutions in the province to offer such advanced facilities.
