"Human Rights Day: Watch children and youth ask us about their rights"
"Every year on December 10, we observe Human Rights Day in recognition of the day in 1948 when the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This year the theme is dignity, freedom and justice for all. It is a double celebration as we also celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Human Rights Code this year.
To mark this occasion, the OHRC created a video featuring children and youth asking questions about their rights and telling us about their responsibilities and freedoms. They know their rights. Do you?"

"Racism at the Canadian Human Rights Commission means Canada cannot meet its obligations under international law, says advocate"
"Earlier this year, the Treasury Board found that the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the body empowered to investigate complaints of discrimination in federally regulated workplaces, has racially discriminated against its own employees. Nicholas Marcus Thompson, executive director of the Black Class Action Secretariat, says that although anti-Black racism is present at the Commission, the issue is rampant across all federal government employers."
