Registration and Fee Guide for International Students (Summer 2025)

Today

• Download the mandatory iCent App today and receive important information and complete your pre-registration checklists.
   

March 15

Full Tuition Payment Deadline – March 15

• As early as Saturday, March 15 (or the due date on your letter of acceptance) 
• All semester 1 students must pay full tuition to secure your seat and avoid a late fee. Your fees are located on the second page of your Letter of Acceptance. Read more about how to pay
• After March 15, new international students will receive direction on how to confirm when your study visa has been approved. You will receive information via email on these steps.

When to register online.

• Find the date and time that timetable selection begins for your program in MyMohawk on Monday, March 24.
• Timetable selection dates vary by program and begin as early as Monday, April 7. 

Complete Check in

• Check-In will begin on Monday, March 10. Check in Early!  Watch your email for a notification to start the check in process. 
• Upon approval upload your documents on the iCent app
• Students travelling to Canada can visit the Get Ready to Start and Entering Canada websites for information on travel requirements. 
• As a new student, you should just arrive to give yourself a reasonable amount of time to get settled before the scheduled start date of your program.

Timetable Selection – Monday, April 7, 2025 

• Timetable selections begin. You must check in via the mandatory iCent app before you can select your timetable.

• All academic and language conditions must be met along with visa approval and travel approvals before you can select your timetable.

• Step 1: Upload your documents on iCent check in with us tab.
• Step 2: Wait for an email and notification that we have processed your documents and you can select your timetable when opens.
• Step 3: View your timetable. Learn more about how to view your timetable.

Complete Assessments for Success 

Assessments for Success are required for first semester Mohawk students and are designed to assess your incoming literacy and math skills so we can better help you succeed. The results of your assessment do not affect your offer of admission. Learn more and book your assessment.

New Student Orientation – Monday, May 5, 2025 

• New student orientation for all semester 1 new students.

First Day of Classes – Monday, May 5, 2025

• Classes start for new and returning students commence. 
• Review the Important dates at a glance website for important timelines through out the term.

Today

• iCent information for returning students to share travel information.
• Students traveling to Canada (upon visa approval) must visit the Get Ready to Start and Entering Canada websites for information on the mandatory travel requirements.

Pay your non-refundable $2,450 deposit to avoid a late fee.

• Your fee statement will be sent to your Mohawk College e-mail account. Check your Mohawk e-mail regularly ​

Monday, March 24

Find out when to register online.

• Find out when you can select your timetable. Timetable selection dates vary by program and begin as early as Monday, December 9, 2024. Find the date and time that timetable selection begins for your program in MyMohawk on Monday, November 25, 2024. 

Monday, April 7

Semester 2+ students must pay full fees to select their timetable on MyMohawk.  

• Step 1: Select your timetable in MyMohawk. Before you can select your timetable and register, one of the payment options must be met.
• Step 2: Pay any outstanding balance and complete your registration by clicking the 'Submit to register' button.
• Step 3: View your timetable. Learn more about how to view your timetable.

Wednesday, April 30

• Deadline for full fee payment. A late fee will apply after this date.

Monday, May 5

• Classes begin.
