What To Do When MAP Errors Occur

Receiving an error message when clicking on MAP link through MyMohawk?

Step 1: Are you a Post-secondary student?

  • If no: Currently MAP is available to post-secondary students only. We will be adding CE and Apprenticeship students to MAP at a future date
  • If yes: Are you currently registered in a post-secondary program or have you been registered in a post-secondary program within the last 2-3 years? 
    • Yes: Go to Step 2
    • No: Contact your Student Success Advisor or Academic Coordinator for assistance. The Academic areas can ask the Registrar’s Office to add a student to MAP so they can run your audit

Step 2 (If you are currently in a post-secondary program): Were you enrolled in a Continuing Education (CE) course in your last active term?

  • If yes: Please contact your Student Success Advisor or Academic Coordinator for assistance. NOTE: You will not see your audit in MAP until you register again as a post-secondary student
  • If no: Have you had a name change?
    • Yes: Please contact The Registrar's Office or
      mapsupport [at] mohawkcollege.ca (email Map support)
    • No: Go to step 3

Step 3 (If you haven't had a name change): Do you have more than one student number? 

  • If yes: Have you completed a Student ID Amalgamation Request Form?
  • If no:  Please contact The Registrar's Office or mapsupport [at] mohawkcollege.ca (email Map support).
    Possibilities:
    • You registered late and your student information has not been brought into MAP yet. (Please check back at a later date)
    • You may have repeated course and have passed both (We are working on solving this issue, please check back at a later date)
    • You may be registered in a Program of Studies that is not posted to MAP yet (Please check back at a later date)
    • You attended classes at Mohawk in the past, and the Program of Studies you were following was updated (Please contact your Student Success Advisor or Academic Coordinator for assistance)
    • You may be enrolled in a program that is currently not in MAP (Collaborative, General Interest, etc.
