Compulsory ancillary fees are fees students pay in addition to tuition that support services and activities distinct from academic programming. Compulsory ancillary fees are established in accordance with guidelines established by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU). Descriptions of the services and resources these fees support are outlined below. Compulsory ancillary fees are charged to all students in each term enrolled and are not refundable regardless of program delivery (in person, remote, hybrid) or whether students elect to use them or not. If you return for another program or the same program and semester, you are subject to the same fees again.

Clinical Learning Suite is comprised of several digital resources designed to support student learning throughout the Practical Nursing and PSW to Practical Nursing programs, including a collection of 150+ clinical skills videos, Elsevier Adaptive Quizzing for two required texts (Fundamentals and Medical-Surgical Nursing), SimChart (practicing electronic documentation), Simulation Learning System and HESI case studies (unfolding cases at the application level designed to assess clinical reasoning). All students gain access on day 1 of the program, helping to support student success and longevity in the program. |
