Mohawk College's Workforce Partnerships department, part of the Centre for Community Partnerships and Experiential Learning division, is a liaison between the College and government, community, and industry clients to design, develop and implement strategies to achieve workforce skills, training and economic development.
The team works strategically to identify opportunities that:
- Provide meaningful re-employment training to those in transition, underemployed, or underrepresented in the labour market
- Upgrade skills of employees
- Support the economic development of our communities
The Workforce Partnerships team is part of the College Sector Employment Services (CSES), a network of Ontario colleges that deliver employment services to all Ontarians. The CSES network has representation in over 60 communities across Ontario, of which Mohawk College’s Workforce Partnerships department represents Hamilton.
