Kat Clark has been working in the music and entertainment industry for over a decade. After graduating from the Television Broadcasting and Communications Media program at Mohawk College, she worked on productions including the JUNOS, So You Think You Can Dance Canada and Canadian Walk of Fame recognizing the incredible contributions of Canadian artists on the world stage. Kat spent many years working her way up the ladder at Durham Radio Inc in Hamilton where she started behind the scenes in production and promotions and then transitioned to an on air position as host of the community events cruiser at KX947, swing announcer on the KX Morning Ride and eventually landed her own regular time slot hosting Sunday evenings while also fulfilling her duties as the director of the promotions department for all eight of the DRI radio stations. In the spring of 2022, Kat accepted a position as Manager of Marketing and Graphic Design with OVG360, an international venue management company with over 140 properties world wide. There, she is responsible for the three Core Entertainment venues in Hamilton including FirstOntario Centre, FirstOntario Concert Hall and The Studio, where she has cheered on many Ontario artists as they have grown from performing in the lobby before the show, all the way up to headlining the mainstage in front of 17,000+. Her husband, Daniel Clark, is a fellow Mohawk College graduate and owner of Cithara Guitars Inc in Hamilton, Ontario. Together they have worked at many music festivals across Southern Ontario supporting acts of all sizes and genres. Kat has vast experience working on committees and boards for not-for-profit organizations including the CMAOntario Board of Directors, CCMA Host Committee and Mohawk College Alumni Association. She looks forward to bringing the skills she honed as a member of these organizations to the Mohawk College Foundation Board of Directors.
