The Greater Toronto Area’s (GTA’s) latest food hall is now open at Mississauga’s Square One Shopping Centre. The province’s largest mall has dedicated over 34,000-square feet of space to The Food District, a collection of local purveyors selling quality goods, most of which are edible. Food banks are welcoming, friendly non-profit organizations established in each city in Canada to help those living in the community who may need temporary assistance with food.

Food banks operate through the goodwill of several volunteers who sort, store and distribute food.

The mission of every foodbank is to alleviate hunger and provide nutritious food to their clients.
