Scott Merwin's Headshot

"The theoretical portion of the Mohawk Marketing program is by far one of the best. Between the facility and faculty, you have every resource at your disposal. Even more important than that though, are the extra opportunities you have to increase your real-world experience. While at Mohawk, I joined a team of students who competed in a case competition with 33 other colleges from across Canada. The experience and connections we gained from competing in this event were invaluable, not to mention the feeling of winning Gold at the national level!"

Scott, Business Marketing Graduate 2015

"My experience in the Marketing program was extremely insightful and enjoyable. It provided me with the foundation that I needed to be ready to enter the work force and be successful in my career. I have the ability to build a rapport rapidly with my colleagues and customers. I accredit this to the Marketing program as it involves a significant amount of group work, teaching you personability and to work effectively in a team. The presentation skills that I acquired at Mohawk have aided my success in closing projects with customers and my ability to open new high volume accounts."

Kendra, Business Marketing Graduate, 2014

"I would recommend this program to any individual looking to pursue a career in Marketing. The professors at Mohawk College bring experienced knowledge from within the industry and provide a great support, working with their students to help you reach your academic goals. With many things being data-driven in today’s world, the professors teach leading analytical skills, coaching their students how to not only gather data but how to analyze and strategize, creating more successful marketing efforts. The professors within the Marketing Program at Mohawk College helped turn my passion into a great learning experience."

Alyssa, Business Marketing Graduate, 2016

Headshot of Allen

"The experienced professors are the most valuable assets of this program. We learned so much from successful instructors instead of from textbooks. And we had great chances to apply all kinds of marketing skills in class with our classmates. My advice to all future International students: dig into every resource including the library and the learning support centre - that’s how I learned the most."

Allen, Business Marketing Graduate 2013

Julia Jarusauskas

I am currently the Communications and Events Coordinator for the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, and I love what I do! I plan and execute over 20 events in the year, and promote the Chamber on a daily basis. My Mohawk education opened the door to many opportunities. Mohawk College was the stepping-stone that prepared me for my future. All those projects, presentations, exams and tests are worth it, when you land a job post-graduation!
