I cannot recommend the Office Administration Health Service program at Mohawk College enough! The professors are great, the curriculum is up to date, and  you will leave this program feeling confident with the knowledge gained and well-prepared to put the skills learned throughout your time at Mohawk to use in the medical field. Proud to be a recent Mohawk College Alumnus! Class of 2023 :)

The value of my time at Mohawk College is beyond what words can say. I am appreciative of everything I was able to do throughout the time in today’s workforce through this program. The lectures are informed and skilled, and the technology is up to date. I graduate excited about the prospect of my future and confident that I am  ready to enter the workforce. I am pleased to have attended Mohawk College, and I will always be grateful for what it did for me.

After working in business travel for 20 years, I lost my job due to Covid. I made the difficult decision to return to school to start a new career.  I chose Office Administration-Health Services. I was worried about being in school again after such a long time, but I felt included and supported from the start. I fine-tuned my existing skills and learned so much more from the amazing, knowledgeable instructors in the program. I completed the 2-week placement and was able to successfully interview for a permanent position in Nephrology at the hospital, which is exactly where I wanted to be. Mohawk prepared me well for this opportunity and I was able to provide complete information on health requirements because of the pre-placement program. This made the on-boarding process much easier. I am thrilled that I made the right choice when I decided to take this program!

My time at Mohawk College gave me the opportunity to learn new things. The experience that I had whether it was online or in person was the best experience that I could have ever asked for. My professors were super nice and caring. I can't thank my professors or the college enough for giving me this opportunity in the Health Industry.
