Supporting Students
The Student Rights and Responsibilities Office supports the resolution of various student concerns through a student-focused, collaborative process. SRRO offers a range of resolution services, including consultation, referral, support, and informal and formal resolution pathways.
When should student's reach out to SRRO?
If you are experiencing harassment or discrimination
- Affected by sexualized violence and looking for more information
- Your learning is being impacted by the behavior and conduct of another person
- You need help resolving a conflict
- You are unsure about which policies and/or procedures apply to your situation
- You need to access supports and services within the College or in the community
- You want to disclose and/or report incidences of sexual assault and sexualized violence
- You want to file a report or inform us of an alleged student misconduct
How will SRRO respond to a student's concern?
SRRO will respond by;
- Being respectful, informative, and inclusive
- Listening to your concerns and offering guidance
- Helping you to understand your options and identify your next steps
- Connecting you to resources and support if needed. You do not have to file a formal report to access support and information through our office.
Do you need help resolving an issue ?
You can reach out to us using the following methods. Please note we monitor our phone, emails, and Public Incident Reporting Form, Monday - Friday 8:30 am- 4:30 pm. We will respond to you within 2 business days.
