Mohawk College is dedicated to providing inclusive environments that are accessible and welcoming places for all students, employees and visitors.
We are an educational institution that encompasses the values of universal design in our learning and working environments, and strive to ensure accessibility in our services, products and facilities. We are dedicated to the principles of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), and aim to ensure that dignity, integration and equality of opportunity are embedded in all aspects of the College culture.
Mohawk College has established this accessibility website, to support our commitment to the AODA and so that we can continue to identify, remove and prevent barriers to participation. This site brings together the initiatives, policies and services at the College devoted to promoting accessibility and to ensuring that individuals have equitable access to services and facilities.
Successful learning, living, and employment outcomes are the result of a shared responsibility and commitment on the part of students, staff, faculty, and senior administrators.
