Your Community Employment Services journey doesn't end with getting hired, but rather extends throughout your first year of employment. Members of our team will check in with you at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months to find out how your new job is going and to provide support wherever we can.
During this time, we will continue to offer guidance, training, and assistance to help you navigate challenges, develop skills, adapt to your new workplace environment, and overcome obstacles that could affect your job performance and job satisfaction.
What can we help with?
Job coaching and employment resources
Examples: personalized support and mentoring, full access to CES Connect content
Upskilling opportunities
Examples: Microsoft Excel courses, Forklift Safety Training
Employment-related financial support
Examples: funding for work clothing, transportation
What do we need from you?
To verify that your employment information is still accurate at each check-in
Example: A picture of your pay stub
Once your employment is verified and you’re working at least 20 hours per week, we may be able to offer you additional employment-related financial support.
