Beginning in September 2025, Mohawk College students who are enrolled in either Pre-Health Sciences Pathways to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees – 339 or Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas - 340 will be eligible for the Pre-Health Advantage Pathway. This pathway is intended to offer preferred admission to current Mohawk College students enrolled in a Pre-Health program into a number of Mohawk College’s highly sought-after healthcare programs.

How the Pre-Health Advantage Pathway works:
- Students enroll in one of Mohawk College's Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas – 340 or Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees - 339 programs.
- Once enrolled, they must apply to one of the above programs on OntarioColleges.ca before the equal consideration deadline. Students interested in the pathway will be required to submit a letter of understanding, which will outline the pathway requirements. Access to the letter of understanding will be emailed to all eligible Pre-Health students after they begin their first semester. It is recommended that students connect with their Student Success Advisor to ensure a clear understanding of the pathway requirements.
Eligibility
Admission requirements for each program in this pathway are listed below their respective descriptions. Admission to this pathway is competitive and does not override the Admissions Policy. Applicants are evaluated and ranked based on their performance in the required prerequisite courses. Admission through the Pre-Health Advantage Pathway is not guaranteed. Students must successfully complete Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas – 340 or Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees - 339 within the two semesters to be eligible for this program.
To be eligible for this pathway, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and must enter the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway Program in Fall 2025 or later.
