Overview
Program Highlights
- Intended to provide recent graduates of Architectural and Civil Engineering programs (Technicians, Technologists and Bachelor’s Degree holders) as well as current AEC industry practitioners an opportunity to upgrade their skills in the rapidly evolving field of BIM
- BIM is currently considered to be the mainstream industry practice which revolutionizes the approach to the building design and allows significant savings in time and material while improving the quality of construction and building energy efficiency
- Graduates will become well-rounded multi-disciplinary specialists able to develop an innovative career in the BIM design field

Domestic and International student admission requirements
- Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Architectural Technology, Civil Technology, Building Systems, Building Science, Construction Management or a related field including:
- Post-secondary courses in AutoCAD or equivalent
Language Requirements for Applicants with English as a Second Language:
Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the approved options below:
- IELTS Academic overall band of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
- TOEFL iBT 88
- CAEL 70, no sub-test band score less than 60
- PTE Academic 58
- Successful completion of the GAS-English for Academic Purposes (478) program. Placement in the GAS-EAP program is determined by scores on an in-house English language test or TOEFL or IELTS Academic
