Our Spaces

Mohawk College is home to as number of Indigenous Spaces on campus. 

The Centre for Indigenous Relations, Knowledge, and Learning (CIRKL) is located in room A110 - Fennell Campus. 

Coming Soon: Kanaktí:yo

Mohawk College has redesigned the i-Wing Rotunda on the Fennell Campus as an indoor Indigenous gathering space to be overseen through CIRKL. 

The Kanaktí:yo space includes: 

  • Hybrid meeting space for groups up to 30 in person
  • Alcove areas with a small table and comfortable chairs
  • Privacy for ceremony (blinds on second and main floor to provide this)
  • Separate display cases to showcase cultural items that helps build awareness and knowledge about FMNI peoples

The redesign was created through community consultations with Smoke Architecture  The space will feature artwork by Philip Cote
