Thrive Week

What is Thrive Week?

Thrive Week is a week-long campaign focused on building positive mental health for all, including Mohawk College students, faculty and staff. Thrive Week encourages our campus community to flourish by encouraging learning about, thinking about, talking about, and discovering new skills and resources that help us to Thrive all year long. Thrive is for everyone—we all have mental health, and while it might look and feel different for each of us, we all benefit from maintaining and fostering it.  Whatever your pathway to mental health may be, we invite you to learn about it, talk about it and explore it during Thrive.

  1. Foster a shared sense of belonging and supportive environments on campus.
  2. Reduce mental health stigma and encourage help seeking behaviours.
  3. Improve mental health literacy on campus.
  4. Build skills to support positive mental health and resilience. 
  5. Highlight resources on campus.
