Brantford & Haldimand Dual Credits - BHNCDSB

These Dual Credit courses are open to students of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board (BHNCDSB) who are close to high school graduation.

Courses that are offered at specific high schools are only open to students who attend those high schools. 

All registrations MUST be completed through your high school's Student Services or Guidance department. Contact your Student Services or Guidance department to see which option is best for you.

Below is a sample of the Dual Credits we have run in recent years.  Please contact your high school's Student Services of Guidance department to see if these courses are still available.

Fall (Semester 1)

Health and Wellness - St. John's College

College Credit 1: Introduction to Health & Wellness (HLTH10081)

Course Description: Explore the seven basic dimensions of wellness. The social, intellectual, emotional, occupational, environmental, spiritual and physical components allow for the development of a balanced approach to lifestyle choices. Lifestyle choices have a direct impact on an individual's short and long term health potential. Discuss methods of achieving one's potential in each of the interrelated

Mohawk @ School - Communications

Students earn a Mohawk College credit while they earn their compulsory Grade 12 English credit!

College Credit 1: Essentials of Communication (COMM11000)

Course Description: Apply principles of communication that transfer to real-world scenarios to meet the needs of the intended audience. Develop the reading, writing, critical thinking, and oral skills essential to be an effective communicator. Conduct, evaluate, and use research from appropriate sources.

College Pathways: Satisfies the Communications course requirement in most Mohawk programs
